Program in Partnership with the Allentown School District
Mirroring off the successful elementary basketball program, PAL in conjunction with the Allentown School District, has a middle school basketball program. The 6th grade, in the middle schools, will be targeted for the program since PIAA starts with the 7th grade. All the middle schools will be involved in the program. There will be tryouts held and a boys team and girls team will be formed from each school. The program requirement is that students must be free of any discipline record and maintain a positive attitude and good grades. Players must also have good sportsmanship throughout the program. The games will be 1 hour long and will have official PIAA referees and abide by PIAA rules.
