Camp Blue Line
Pal will be starting its 41st year of summer day camp in 2018. The dates are June 26th to June 30th and July 10th to August 4th. Acceptance letters will be mailed out to the 5th graders in each school that registered. There is no cost and lunch is provided by the Allentown School District.
Activities include kickball, dodge ball, swimming, a horseback ride, a morning at the Fish Hatchery, tubing in the Little Lehigh, K9 demonstrations, a morning at the Lehigh Valley Zoo, and a day at Crystal Cave. K9 demonstrations are dependent on scheduling. All participants receive a Pal T-shirt.
City Police Officers who will be assisting are School Resource Officers. All Pal programs try to bring our youth and our Police Officers closer together, and Camp Blue Line still stands out as the best program for achieving that purpose.
